J. Theodore, Ted, and Stephen T. Johnson: A Three Generation Retrospective

Lawrence, Kansas, 28 February 2025 – Cider gallery will host the launch of our newest show, J. Theodore, Ted, and Stephen T. Johnson: A Three Generation Retrospective. Opening reception will be on Final Fridays, February 28th, 2025, from 5-9 p.m. The event is free to the public. The gallery is located at 810 Pennsylvania Street, in the Warehouse Arts District of Lawrence, Kansas. Exhibition runs through March.

The name “Theodore” distinguishes and binds these three artists, yet their rich family lineage draws an even deeper narrative connection seen and experienced through their drawings, paintings, and teaching. This retrospective celebrates their unique artistic visions and styles that collectively explore ideas concerning the human spirit and the academic tradition.
